These kids only see each other about once a year,
but they always have a great time together...
We managed to find the energy for all of the expected camping
activities despite the heat wave...
The paved hiking trails were nice with great views of the Toledo Bend Reservoir
Tyler found another "Star Wars Buddy" in Reece
The fastest boat they had for rent was a canoe...
I think the kids enjoyed it much more than Jay did.
We even sweated through (literally) an evening of Smores
in front of the campfire... now that's camping!
