Georgia Snow 2014

Yes, it shut our southern city down, and yes it caused hours worth of traffic - but for those of us lucky enough to be home during the 2014 Snowpocalype in Georgia... it sure was a lot of fun to play in!

This is minutes after the kids got off of the school bus -

we had consistent snowfall on Tuesday from about 12pm-8pm (ish).

As you can see, Jay was NOT quite as excited as the kids to be outside in the snow.

 

 

Still some snow to play in on Wednesday....

 and with everything melting, we found some cool icicles!

 

 

 

The snow was too powdery to make a snowman...

 but that didn't stop one-armed Alli from making a fairy winterland.

Tyler was excited to find one last bit of untouched snow... the roof of the patio. 

 Obviously, one fractured elbow just isn't enough for our family (just kidding - Tyler didn't get hurt)...

He had a lot of fun dumping snow on his sister though

 Friday afternoon, as I type this it is 50 degrees, with a weekend forecast in the 60s. 
We enjoyed our snow while it lasted, and look forward to more in 2-3 years or so.
