Tyler's Big Week

Tyler was all smiles at his school science fair Monday night when he won first place among the first grade participants. We were told that he talked "on and on" to the judges about his project when they asked him a few questions last week.




And to make the science fair even more exciting, there were animals and exhibits of all kinds including live snakes to hold. Smiles faded a little when one of the snakes got wrapped around the cafeteria table and Jay had to assist the high school student in uncoiling the snake from the table. Better Jay than me!



And to add to our excitement this weekend, Tyler finally decided on Sunday afternoon that he wanted to ride his bike without training wheels. It took no time at all for him to ride up and down the street by himself.

Daylight savings cannot start soon enough because now we have a little boy who wants to ride his bike until dusk every evening. He rode down to the clubhouse parking lot this afternoon to practice his turns.

Tyler's quote as he rode around and around and around the parking lot... "This is phenomenal!"
